For interior painting, a house can be completely renovated by a builder. Walls may be moved and rooms may be added. Once the builder finishes, we will move in with the team. All ceilings, walls and joinery might require painting. Properties may be styled for resale so the pallet could be kept neutral.

Monolithic, texture clad homes may have cracks through the plaster. This is usual for monolithic homes after several years. Timber doors and pergolas are also worse for wear. The project can be started by washing down the house to rid of any mould and mildew. The gutters and overhanging eves will then be sanded where necessary. For aging plaster, cracks will be filled in. Paint provides a weathertight membrane to protect the home from water ingress and allow moisture to evaporate from the inside of the house.

The gutters could be painted with Resene Summit Roof, eves painted in Lumbersider, main membrane coating painted in Double Truffle, pergola painted in Resene Lumbersider, garage and front doors coated in CD50 and textured cladding painted with Resene X-200 Weathertight Membrane.

As we go on with our project, we want as little disruption to daily lives as possible.
